M. Holly Isdale, Founder

Digitaldeath.com is curated by Holly Isdale, and is offered as part of her mission to help families organize their financial and personal affairs. Holly works with individuals directly to inventory their digital assets and with advisors to help them better counsel clients on matters of digital assets, privacy, and estate planning.

Dubbed “the Fixer” by Town and Country magazine, Holly is the owner of Wealthaven, LLC, a consulting firm supporting families facing some type of transition event – be it the sale of a business, transfer of ownership to a next generation of family members or even just the normal changes in life. Families hire Holly to create both the strategic plan around their needs and to oversee these highly complex transformations of their family. She provides the independent viewpoint and unbiased perspective that can eliminate roadblocks and bring a vision into reality.

A tax attorney by training, Holly began her career with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson in New York City before moving to JPMorgan as the Chief Tax Strategist for their Private Bank. She went on to start and lead the estate and financial planning efforts for Goldman Sachs, then Lehman Brothers and finally ran family office team within Bessemer Trust. Holly created Wealthaven in 2010, a fee-based consulting firm, to provide advice to families without the limitations of specific investment platforms or pressure of product sales.

Holly received her B.A., cum laude, from Cornell University and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She is a noted speaker on topics of investment and financial planning, digital death and social media issues and has been widely quoted in the financial and mainstream media.
